How to Create and Connect OKX API
OKX is supported alongside Bybit, Binance and Rithmic. Important difference: OKX requires three secrets (Access key, Secret key, Passphrase) instead of two — make sure all three are entered when connecting.
Steps
- Register or log in at okx.com.
- Go to Profile → API → Create V5 API key.
- Choose a name, add 65.2.84.75 (RealColibri IP address) to the IP whitelist (recommended), set a passphrase (you choose it — required during sign).
- Permissions: enable Read and Trade for "perpetual futures" (do NOT enable Withdraw).
- After creation, copy: API Key, Secret Key, Passphrase — they will not be shown again.
- In our platform open OKX → Connect (admin can do it via OKX → Accounts), paste the three values and save.
- Select a trading symbol (BTC-USDT-SWAP, LIT-USDT-SWAP, etc.) and press Start to run the algorithm.
OKX uses contracts, not coins, as the position size unit. The Robot converts the configured deposit into contracts automatically using ctVal from the OKX instrument info — you don't need to do this manually.
